What is AZOMITE?

The name “Azomite” stands for “A to Z Of Minerals Including Trace Elements”.
Azomite consists mainly of mineral complexes of silicon – (HSCA) formed 30 million years ago during a volcanic eruption. The combination of seawater and minerals from volcanic ash has resulted in a perfect and balanced nutrient composition.
Azomite rock dust is a naturally mined volcanic rock that consists of over 70 minerals and trace elements that are essential for optimal plant health. The rock formation in Utah from which azomite is mined was formed when volcanic ash fused with seawater. This mixture of volcanic ash and seawater created a unique source of trace elements and minerals that are lacking in most soils. Plants, like humans, need many minerals to achieve maximum health and vitality.
Azomite is an easy to use, naturally mined mineral product. It is odorless and does not restrict soil aeration or water penetration.
Azomite is a complex of naturally occurring minerals that contains essential elements (micronutrients) for plant growth. Fertilizing with Azomite adds a portion of the mineral balance required for the growth of common soil flora and fauna, which is critical to overall productivity.
Continuous plant reproduction and the flushing action of water can deplete important minerals and micronutrients from the soil. Azomite can improve soils that have been depleted of these important minerals and micronutrients. It can also replenish soils that naturally lack these vital mineral concentrations.

Is Azomite organic?
Azomite has been approved by OMRI for use in organic farming. Many fertilizers are chemically modified or undergo an intensive manufacturing process. AZOMITE is easily broken down and crushed and is 100% natural and organic.
Azomite can be added to compost tea as a “top dress” or mixed in when preparing your Living Soil.
What effect does Azomite have on plants?
According to studies and customer reports, plants grown with AZOMITE produce higher yields, larger fruits and better taste. The plant’s resistance to disease increases. AZOMITE has shown positive results in a variety of field and laboratory studies. There is evidence that AZOMITE can improve nutritional benefits.
